Upgraded Website will Continue to Evolve
»»DOORCO has now launched its
eagerly awaited new website and upgraded its
linked online ordering system.
Creating the new website was a lengthy
process, due to DOORCO’s continuous
expansion of its product range with new styles
and choices which were added throughout the
website design process.
The site is designed to provide a simple
and effective ordering system for the
company’s Prepped Slab trade customers
whilst also providing them with a tool that
helps to steer their homeowner customers
through the design and selection process.
Every one of DOORCO’s door ranges is
featured using high quality professional
images, together with style and colour
options. The images used are also available
for DOORCO customers to use in their
own marketing.
“DOORCO nominated The Consultancy
as our website partners and we are delighted
with the first version produced by their team,”
said DOORCO’s Dan Sullivan. “There are a
lot more ideas and development points that
were suggested, so there will be a programme
of advancement of the site over the next few
months with their help.
“Our customers have told us that our
ordering system is one of the best on the
market,” added Dan, “so the emphasis was
on improvement using the advice that they
gave to us, such as fewer clicks to complete
the order. Now every one of our customers
places their orders with us this way and
the need for manual forms has all but
vanished.”

Most Successful Launch Ever
The introduction of the new flush sash window from TruFrame
has been its most successful product launch ever, with a
large number of installations already been completed.
»»The flush sash design
is inspired by traditional timber
joinery, but the product is by
no means limited to heritage
applications in period properties.
The ‘less is more’ design mentality
lends itself perfectly to modern
installations, through the use
of alternative hardware and
colours.
The colour range now includes
white, flat cream, rosewood,
golden oak, white foil, black
foil, cream foil, Chartwell green,
anthracite grey (RAL 7016) and
Irish oak, all of which are offered
on just a 10 day lead time.
The flush sash window also
benefits from a new and exclusive
milled decorative astragal bar to
support the product range. This
window is manufactured using
TruFrame’s exclusive four-step
hand finishing process which
involves the checking of the
corner contours for uniformity,
levelling of the outside edges.
‘the response to the
flush sash window
has been simply
overwhelming!’
The window has been designed
using the Liniar six-chambered
EnergyPlus 70mm outer frame,
along with a four-chambered
50mm deep, flush sash. The

results are ‘A’ and even ‘A+’
rated windows that are an easy
and relatively cost effective
proposition.
Patrick Firmager, marketing
director, TruFrame commented:
“The response to the flush
sash window has been simply
overwhelming! We’ve spent a
considerable amount of time
developing and testing the
product, and we’re pleased to
announce that our flush sash
windows carry Secured by Design
accredited status, well in advance
of the new Document Q for the
new build sector.”
