Continuing
the Story
Aluplast is one of Europe’s
largest PVCu system
profile manufacturers,
with over three decades
of manufacturing under
its belt and 24 production
plants, the company
produce a range of highend, premium PVCu
window and door profile
system products, supplied
across the world.
»»Aluplast UK was established
in 2012, to demonstrate to the UK and
Ireland its support for the markets, and to
show fabricators that they were a viable and
serious player in the industry.
With further investment during 2015,
Aluplast UK’s infrastructure has now grown
and it continues to expand. Keith White,
managing director for Aluplast UK tells
Clearview how the business is developing.
“Deciding to set up Aluplast UK
partnership, three years ago was excellent
timing. With the recession coming to
an end and varying system companies
consolidating businesses, the opportunity
for the partnership as a new entry to the UK
and Irish markets, meant a fresh and different
approach for us.”
Aluplast Ideal 70 range is the perfect
solution for these markets; the outward
opening profile suite has been designed
for internally beaded glazing with a five
chamber design, and 70mm profile depth
which delivers outstanding thermal efficiency

enabling the achievement of WER of A Plus
without any hassle.
Keith continues: “Our foiled product
availability has expanded and includes new
standard variations; anthracite on white,
cream on white, palisander black on white
and palisander black on both sides. With the
growth of colour foiled options throughout
the marketplace, Aluplast has increased
production facility by added additional
CNC foiling lines to cater for the increase in
demand, being able to supply special colours
within three weeks.
“We have also seen an expansion in our staff
resources and brought on board two new key
members of staff to help the business progress.
Vasilis Giannopoulos has been appointed
as Sales Executive. He has an immense
knowledge of operational manufacturing and
selling experience in the fenestration sector in
Europe and at specifier inter-face in the UK.
Ian Cocken also joins the team in a senior
position as Director of Sales and Marketing
and again has a great understanding and huge
level of e xperience within the sector of both
PVCu windows and doors and conservatory
roof systems.
“As Aluplast UK continues to grow we
are seeing more of our existing fabricators
changing over to our Ecotech profile system.
The system compliments the Ideal 70 system
range and has had a terrific impact on the
businesses using it; Rapid Frame Limited,
Walsall being one of those companies.
“Rapid Frame has seen unprecedented
sales growth of frames since introducing and
combining the new Ecotech system with the
Ideal 70 range which has been warmly received
by its installers because of the overall thermal
benefits it can give.
“Finally, we have introduced a collection of
B2B and consumer marketing material for our
customers to utilise, working with new creative
studio partner; ‘The Lines Group’ and will be
launching a new website for the business in
the next few months.” adds Keith.
