The Unveiling of something quite special
»»Masco UK Fabrication is proud
to unveil its new range of premium, fully
suited window and door hardware. This
stunning new collection has been individually
and purposely selected to ensure that UK
Fabrication customers have a complete range
of hardware options that not only meet, but
also exceed today’s consumer demands.
The new range, which has been
meticulously designed as a premium solution
for customers wishing to differentiate their
product offering includes; casement handles,
letterplates, knockers, hinges and the ultimate
high security door handle. The complete and
fully suited range is available in a choice of
four standard colour finishes and is covered by
a comprehensive 10-year guarantee.
Discussing the launch, Ray McGrady,
Masco UK Window Group Marketing
Director explains: “We’ve introduced this
collection in direct response to customer
feedback and homeowner demand. Through
on-going discussions with our customer
base we could see there was a clear market
opportunity for a prestige range of window
and door hardware that could be used to
enhance the sales proposition to consumers.”
Carefully designed to offer a full colour
finish across the entire surface of the handle
(including the button), the new key-locking
casement handle is already proving popular
during pre-launch conversations with
customers.
The premium door range offers a multitude
of handle options, comprising of lever/

lever and lever/pad configurations. In
addition to the aforementioned options,
this new collection also includes an industry
leading high security handle. Tested to the
latest version of PAS24:2012, this ultimate
performance handle features a solid extruded
aluminium base plate which acts as a cylinder
guard to prevent attack on the cylinder. Also,
to prevent backplate removal, rigid cast steel
screw fixings and high tensile steel screws
have been incorporated into the innovative
design.
Customers will also be able to enhance their
offering with the new fully colour-matched
metal letterplates, benefiting from anti-snap
flaps for ease of operation and fully weather
tested for proven durability and peace of
mind.
A range of knockers, again designed
to deliver choice for the consumer are
also prominent within the collection,
encompassing everything from the classic
doorknocker, through to a traditional horsetail
and contemporary plus style options.
Completing the premium offering are two
expertly designed door hinges; a traditional
flag hinge sits alongside the contemporary
styled rebated hinge. The decision to include
two different hinge choices was deliberate,
with both options having been carefully
selected to ensure that there is a hinge style to
suit the individual needs.

hardware range offers the perfect ‘finishing

touch’ for consumers and capitalises on
the growing trend for products that deliver
enhanced ‘kerb-appeal’.
The hotly-anticipated range doesn’t just look
