Record Sales for Colour Collection
» SALES OF THE DURAFLEX
Diamond Suites’ coloured profile
has been growing year-on-year and
this recent surge shows no signs
of slowing, with further growth
expected for their retail, new
build and commercial fabricators
throughout 2020.
Homeowners are more
informed than ever before and
where they were once often driven
by so-called ‘distress purchases’, the
industry is now seeing more and
more consumers led by aesthetics
and performance. Combine this
behaviour shift with the rise in
premium products, such as bi-fold
doors and the flush sash which
lend themselves to a colour finish
and it’s clear to see that offering
a market leading colour range
represents a key strategic growth
opportunity for Duraflex and its
customer base.
“We’ve experienced considerable
year-on-year growth across our
colour offering, and combined with
the popularity of more high-end
products, such as our Flush Sash it’s
not surprising that the demand for
colour has now hit record levels,”
commented Duraflex Head of
Marketing, Kay McGrady.
To help Duraflex customers stay
one step ahead, the systems house
has been working closely with
leading foil manufacturer Renolit,
to evaluate the market trends and
to ensure that their colour offering
ticks the boxes for fabricators,
installers and homeowners alike.
Following the extensive analysis
and customer research, Duraflex
are excited to be launching two
new colours into their collection,
with the introduction of ‘Balmoral’,
a stunning, prestige finish and
‘Smooth Grey’, the hugely popular
7016 Anthracite Grey, in a stunning,
contemporary matt finish.
Additionally, to further support
their colour credentials, Duraflex
will be introducing two brand
new colour substrates, ‘grey’ and
‘tan’. Kay explains, “With the
growing demand for colour, we
are committed to delivering a
market leading range, which is
driven by truly understanding the
consumer. The two new substrates
will provide exciting sales
opportunities for our customer
base, with the grey substrate
allowing dual colour grey foils to
much more effectively replicate
aluminium, whilst the new tan
substrate will be the ideal pairing
for many of our wood grain
effects. Customer feedback has
been overwhelmingly positive
and we can’t wait to bring these
colours to market.”
