Some Light Relief
at FIT Show
» » ROOF MAKER DESIGNS,
manufactures and supplies world class
rooflights. The team will be showcasing
their innovative new rooflight to installers,
fabricators, housebuilders and construction
professionals from 21st – 23rd May at the NEC,
Birmingham.
On stand K40, professionals can get a step
ahead of the competition by meeting with Roof
Maker’s dedicated team of engineers to find out
how its latest product can offer easy installation,
short lead times and greater design flexibility
when working with renovation projects.
Launching in March 2019, the new rooflight
will add to Roof Maker’s impressive portfolio
of products, designed and manufactured
by its team of over 80 professionals at its
headquarters in Leicestershire.
Vanessa Howard, Chief Marketing Officer at
Roof Maker, said: “Exhibiting at FIT Show 2019
provides us with the ideal platform to showcase
our new rooflight to professionals, whilst also
providing the perfect opportunity to meet with
potential customers to see how we can help
support
their upcoming
construction projects.
“Here at Roof Maker we’re dedicated to the
continuous development of high quality and
innovative rooflights that support professionals
in creating the most energy efficient and
aesthetically pleasing constructions possible.”
Throughout the event, Roof Maker’s
award-winning Luxlite™️ range of pitched
rooflights will also be exhibited, which allow
up to 49% more light to enter a room than
traditional framed pitched rooflights due to its
contemporary ‘frameless’ design. Featuring an
innovative flashing apron, the rooflight offers
superior water dispersion.
Roof Maker’s innovative circular O-lite and
Walk On rooflights, along with its patented
Slimline© roof lantern, will also be on view
across
the three days.
Featuring ultra slim glazing
bars, the Slimline® roof lantern features a
quick installation method that is supported by
the option of a flat pack build, eliminating the
requirement of a crane.
The Slimline® lantern also features an
integrated insulated upstand and is available
with a 20-year unit seal guarantee, due to its
innovative glass unit seals, which are 80 per
cent deeper than any other rooflight available
on the market.
Also available is Roof Maker’s Passive House
accredited Fixed Flat rooflight. Recommended
by the Passive House Trust, it is triple glazed as
standard with a U-value as low as 0.2 W/m2K,
achieved by the patent-pending stepped glass
unit. It offers an exceptional energy efficient
solution for new build homes, extensions or
renovations.
Across the three days Roof Maker’s
technical experts will be on hand to discuss
the wide range of rooflights including flat,
pitched and lantern designs, many of which
feature triple glazing for the highest level of
thermal performance and aesthetics. On show
will also be Roof Maker’s wide range of RAL
options for its high-quality aluminium frames,
along with a wide range of glazing options
including tints and patterns.
