New profile system
opens up further
opportunities
In this exclusive article, Clearview
magazine caught up with Zac
Nedimovic, marketing manager
of trade fabricator Astraseal, to
learn more about the companies
new Eurocell range and complete
conservatory package.
»»“AT ASTRASEAL WE’VE ALWAYS
prided ourselves on offering installers a very
comprehensive product choice,” explains
company marketing manager Zac Nedimovic.
“And after a massively successful 25 years
offering REHAU on the PVCu side, we
decided that expanding into Eurocell offered
us an excellent way of giving our clients an
even greater selection of products to choose
from, at a different and highly competitive
price point.”
Opting for Eurocell opens up a number of
exciting opportunities for Wellingboroughbased Astraseal – including giving it access to
highly respected, standout product lines like
the Aspect bi-fold. Ultra-slim sightlines and
unobstructed views make the Aspect one of
the most sought-after bi-folds on the market.
To end-users, it offers stylish aesthetics,
exceptional performance – the Aspect was
one of the first bi-folds to be both Secured by
Design PAS24 and BBA accredited, and at a
competitive price-tag. The doors are enhanced
further thanks to Astraseal’s ability to spray
them in-house to any RAL colour.
THE COMPLETE
CONSERVATORY PACKAGE
It’s that combination of staggering product
range, big volumes and tight lead times that
has made Astraseal’s name over the past three
decades – but arguably the company’s most
impressive offering, a clear testament to a
fabricator willing and able to go the extra
mile for its client base, is its conservatories
package.

Almost uniquely in the industry, Astraseal
invests the time, manpower and resources to
pre-fabricate every conservatory roof it sells
before it reaches the customer. That means
fully constructing each and every roof product
on-site at its Wellingborough manufacturing
facility, examining in pain-staking detail that
every last nut bolt fits perfectly together,
before disassembly and dispatching to the
installer.
“We don’t have to do that,” says Zac. “In
fact, it would save us a lot of money, and free
up a lot of manpower and other resources if
we didn’t. But we don’t want anything subpar
leaving this factory. We want to be able to
guarantee minimum problems arising further
along the supply chain. Our business is built
on establishing close, trusting relationships
with our installer partners. Customers come
back to us again and again, and indeed use as
their sole supplier, because they know we value
their business, and that they can trust us to do
right by them.”
It’s a broader business philosophy that’s seen
Astraseal invest heavily and continue to place
great importance in maintaining the personal
touch that has a tendency to decline in similar
size enterprises.
“The great thing about Astraseal is the huge
range of expertise we have concentrated in the
same business. We have our own commercial
division and manufacture everything in-house
– including the sealed units and spray painting
the frames –so for any potential problem that
could arise for one our trade customers, we’ve
got someone here who can help.
“Ultimately our ethos has always been to
pursue success off the back of making our
customers successful, rather than just profiting
for ourselves with no thought for the installer.
And I think that’s why our clients keep
coming back time and time again.”
