A solid tiled
conservatory
roof
The perfect
compromise
for today’s
homeowners.
More homeowners are
now recognising how a
solid conservatory roof can
transform their home. David
Gallagher, MD of Connaught
Conservatory Roofs explains
why: “Quite simply, a solid
tiled conservatory roof has a
lot to offer different sectors of
the market.”
The solid tiled conservatory
roof is often sold as a solution
to an ageing, inefficient
conservatory and that’s still
a major market. It’s equally
useful for solving the problem
of a north or south facing
conservatory that is either
too hot or too cold for large
parts of the year. It’s also
finding increased interest from
homeowners wanting to extend
their home but not wanting
the upheaval or expense of a
traditional brick-built extension
– a tiled roof on a conservatory
is the perfect compromise.
Connaught Conservatory
Roofs offers three tiled roof. The
Guardian Roof is a lightweight,
thermally efficient solution
that can be configured for all
conservatory styles. Ultraframe’s
RealRoof is one of the most
thermally efficient roofs on
the market and allows the
homeowner to specify any
traditional tile finish, so the
conservatory can match in with
the existing property. Finally,
there is the LivinRoof from
Ultraframe, which utilises the
best-selling Classic Roof system
as the basis for the conversion,
and is aimed at the replacement
and New conservatory sector
of the market. One of the
many excellent features of the
LivinRoof is the ability to mix
Solid and Glazed panels on the
same roof. All three are covered
by Connaught’s partnership
with Rotherham Building
Control Consultancy and the
independent consultancy JHAI
which gives installers nationwide
a quick, straightforward way to
gain approval for an installation
for £300 or less + VAT.
The solid tiled roofs are part
of a comprehensive portfolio
of conservatory products that
Connaught Fabricate and supply
that help installers tap into the
potential that the market offers
such as the Loggia Prestige and
LivinRoom and Cornice from
Ultraframe – a cost-effective
package that transforms a
standard conservatory into
something very special and
improves thermal efficiency by
up to 30 percent.
David adds, “We know there
are plenty of opportunities out
there because we have seen a
20 percent year-on-year sales
increase. The key is in offering
products that fill a market need
which is why we work with our
customers to meet that need.”
We are now a one stop shop for
a variety of Conservatory roofs
and accessories.
