TRADITIONAL BEAUTY FROM FRAMEXPRESS
Renovation projects have surged in
popularity over the last couple of years for
frameXpress, as sales figures have repeatedly
risen in respect of this market sector at
the company. It has been attributed to
continuing innovation in high performance
products such as the FS70 mm system from
Profile 22 as well as the dynamic design
options now available, which appeal to the
wise homeowner and the shrewd installer.
One of the most recent frameXpress projects
incorporated a number of advanced, high
performance products from the company’s
range, which were tailored specifically to meet
the exacting standards of the homeowners,
who wished their property to maintain
and reflect a very traditional appearance
throughout.
The Slate Grey colour foil was chosen which
has provided a stunning aesthetic finish to the
installation at the home. Matching the design
requirements required meticulous attention to
detail in order to complement the style of the
period residence in Berkshire.
The colours in the range which include
Chartwell Green, Dark Red and Slate Grey
as well as two woodgrain finishes, can be
delivered within a three week lead time.

Internorm, with its wide range of low energy

the many benefits of this certification and as
a result it now has products certified by the
centre as Passivhaus components.

In terms of Passivhaus certification, in
addition to testing the thermal performance
of the systems, Rosenheim is also interested
in the physical tests of the window and its
performance when it comes to water tightness,
air permeability and shock resistance. Also,
the thermal performance of Rosenheim’s
certification is very detailed and, with this,
includes the temperature factor of the glass
edge and of the main building. It also measures
the average temperature factor of the frame
profile as well as the Uw installed.
