SYNSEAL’S PIZZA-STYLE
BOXES DELIVER THE SAVINGS!
Synseal’s fabricator partners are being
presented with “pizza-style” sample boxes
and literature in a new campaign designed
to promote the advantages of using recycled
plastic thermal reinforcements (PTRs) to
replace traditional steel.
The “Switch and Save”, the eye-catching
boxes are colour-coded for Legend, SynerJy
and Shield window systems and contain handy
samples of PTRs fitted into the most popular
profiles together with a standard 150mm
Envirosill, featuring flawless virgin PVC-U on
visible outer faces and a recycled core.
Made from 100% recycled PVC-U, Synseal’s
PTRs deliver enhanced thermal performance,
enabling high energy ratings or low U-values
to be achieved. Less expensive and lighter
than steel and avoiding potential corrosion
problems, PTRs ensure that installed PVC-U
frames become 100% recyclable and are easier
and faster to cut and insert during fabrication,
with additional installation benefits of making
windows lighter thus easier to fit while
affording better screw retention than steel, for
more secure hardware fixing.
The British Board of Agrement (BBA) has
now approved Synseal PTRs for use in foiled
profiles, enabling all shades of f inish including
dark-coloured woodgrains to be manufactured
and installed with total confidence.

Trojan Group expands in Vietnam
The Trojan Group has released details of
the expansion of its manufacturing facility
in Vietnam. The purpose-built additional
20,000 square metres of manufacturing space
is on course to be operational by late 2014.
Tony Chadwick, Trojan Group’s MD, said,
“This is a clear indication of our brand’s success
and increasing demand for our products.
“It is vital to us that we keep manufacturing
in-house to maintain our patented product
confidentiality and stringent quality standards.
By expanding our Vietnam operations, we can
make the most of the value of the pound there,
helping to protect our customers’ businesses
from rising prices and market forces so they can
keep control over their costs.”
Trojan has considerable experience of overseas
operations: as well as the existing Vietnam
operation, the company also has manufacturing
facilities in the form of its Trojan China
division.
Product ranges including the stainless steel
range have proved themselves incredibly
popular in the market, demonstrating that
Trojan’s ethos of developing products with
tangible feature benefits for fabricators,
installers and end users is a recipe for success.
