TRADE COUNTER BEATS LONGSTANDING SALES RECORD
Truemans, the fast growing northern trade
counter chain, has reported its record sales
week, selling £120k across its three depots
during the last week of September.
Truemans has been gaining market share
for quite some time, steadily building up a
loyal following from installers who enjoy the
convenience of dealing with a local supplier, and
the company is now experiencing a sustained
period of significant growth.
Managing Director, Joe Trueman, comments
on the record sales week: “2013 has been a
particularly good year for Truemans. We opened
a new branch in Doncaster last month, which
has already gone down a storm with local
tradesman, and our long-standing Burnley and
Sheffield branches have both seen an increase
in volume. Volume is coming in from new
customers but also existing customers who are
ordering more. We offer free sales and marketing
support and this is helping our customers grow,
pulling more sales through our depots.”
Truemans doesn’t manufacture any of its
products; they buy-in very large quantities from
some of the country’s largest ‘super-fabricators’,
so they can afford to concentrate on offering
customers real added value service.
