HARNESSING THE POWER OF PEOPLE

» THE ENDURANCE GROUP IS harnessing the power of its people to drive continuous improvement and deliver even greater value to its Installer Partners.
Through its‘ You Said, We Did’ programme, the business – whose brands include Endurance ® Doors and Endurance ® Aluminium- has actively canvassed the views of employees, using their feedback to increase engagement and identify opportunities to strengthen the business.
Endurance believes that creating a more engaged workforce has benefits that extend well beyond its employees, helping
to support product quality and consistency, customer service, innovation and the retention of valuable skills and expertise.
Scott Foster, Group Marketing Director at Endurance, said:“ Our people have an enormous influence on the products and service we provide, so investing in employee engagement ultimately represents an investment in our customers too.
“ By creating an environment where people feel listened to and valued, we can encourage greater pride in their work, give people the freedom to generate new ideas, along with retaining the skills and experience that are so important to our business.”
The approach is supported by research from global workplace analytics and advisory company Gallup, which has identified that engaged employees take more pride in their work, ultimately leading to a consistently higher quality product.
Retention is particularly important for Endurance ® given the craftsmanship involved in manufacturing its products.
Scott continued:“ Our windows and doors are not mass-produced, machinemade commodity products. They involve a considerable degree of craftsmanship, which means the knowledge and experience developed by time-served employees has real value.
“ Retaining that expertise within the business helps us maintain the consistently high standards our customers expect, while ensuring valuable skills can continue to be shared throughout our workforce.” The‘ You Said, We Did’ programme forms part of Endurance ®’ s wider commitment to continuous improvement and its focus on how identifying opportunities to enhance the experience for employees has a positive knock-on effect for customers.

Purplex puts its foot on the accelerator with Future of Marketing Summit

» PURPLEX MARKETING has brought its senior leadership team together for its first Future of Marketing Employee Summit, taking a close look at the technology, trends and ideas that will shape the next chapter of marketing.
The Summit was an opportunity to share bang up-to-date information from the frontline of a rapidly changing industry, from the
explosive development of AI to the growing convergence of video, search, websites and social media.
It was a day built around one big question: how can Purplex use what is happening now to become even better at what it does for its customers?
Teams shared emerging trends, challenges and ideas from their own areas of expertise, sparking discussion around everything from AI-assisted content and automation to smarter workflows and new approaches to client delivery.
Andrew Scott, founder and CEO of Purplex, also outlined his ambitions for the business, sharing its one, three and
five-year plans and setting out how the company intends to stay ahead as technology transforms the marketing landscape.
He said:“ The pace of change is extraordinary. Every time you think you have caught up with what is happening, something new comes along that changes the picture again.
“ That makes events like the Summit incredibly important. We brought people together from right across the business and gave them the space to look beyond what they are doing today and think seriously about what we could be doing tomorrow.
“ What really stood out was how talented and passionate
everyone was. Unlike other agencies, we’ ve got specialists in all disciplines of marketing working together under one roof. During the Summit it was clear our team are full of energy. They have plenty of ideas and a real appetite to put those ideas into action.
“ For me, that is what makes this exciting. The technology gives us new possibilities, but it is our people who will turn those possibilities into something valuable for our customers.”
