Selling beyond the standard composite door
For installers, there is a familiar challenge when quoting for a new composite door. Once the conversation becomes centred on price, it can be difficult to do anything other than compare one standard door with another. The greater opportunity comes when the door is treated as part of the home, rather than a replacement for an existing entrance.
Premium specification can change that conversation. The detail can then be tailored to suit the property. Elegance doors offer an extensive choice of glazing, including decorative and privacy designs, alongside a broad range of hardware. Triple glazing is used on Elegance doors, with Kensington and Obscure units available as double glazed options. Customers can choose colour-matched aluminium cassettes, as featured in the original designs, or the new Contour Traditional cassette, which has been developed to replicate the appearance of traditional timber mouldings and create a distinctive heritage look. The colour palette includes standard and premium options, with RAL matching also available.
For the installer, that breadth of choice creates a much more productive sales conversation. Instead of just asking which standard door the customer wants, it opens a discussion about the character of the property and the look they want to create.
