Installer Support

SUPPORTING INSTALLERS WITH PASSIVE FIRE PROTECTION PRODUCTS

Envirograf’ s range of passive fire protection products are designed to act as preventative measures that are already in place to react against fire without any additional human intervention required. Many of their products utilise intumescent technology, often in the form of paints and strips, these intumescent coatings are designed to expand to form a protective barrier when exposed to flame – and in many cases offer as much as over an hour’ s protection.

SPECIALIST GLAZING AND FIRE DOOR RANGE
Envirograf offers a comprehensive range of products to support glazing installers. A couple of their more standout specialist glazing products are their Insuglass XYZ system and Product 116 protective trims. Insuglass XYZ is a combination clear coating and film system to protect glass from fire damage, with high temperatures causing the XYZ coating to form an insulated barrier, blocking heat transfer from one side to the other. XYZ is easy to install, without any need to remove existing glass, and has achieved 67 minutes integrity during testing. Product 116 is a protective trim with pre-fixed expanding intumescent seals designed to hold clear fire rated glass in front of decorative glazed panels, providing up to 60 minutes protection depending on the rating of the fire glass used. Within the Envirograf product lineup are a range of specialised glazing products, such as intumescent trims, strips, tapes, beads and channels – many available in multiple colours and finishes. Fire rated doors remain key safety elements that assist in preventing the spread of fire. Hence, Envirograf offers a dedicated range of fire door upgrade products – including coatings, hinges, liners, seals and grilles.
FOUR DECADES OF EXPERTISE AND INNOVATION
Envirograf boasts over 40 years of experience in passive fire technologies, a relatively niche sector within the wider fire safety industry that is often more focused on reactive fire-retardant measures, such as fire extinguishers and fire alarms. Established in 1983 by Managing Director Derek Ward, Envirograf employs over 120 people in Kent at its Barfrestone HQ, where Derek still plays an active role in the business, continuing to personally develop new products( even though now well into his nineties). Envirograf’ s technical experts based at the company’ s Kent headquarters, which is still the primary manufacturing base, are always happy to answer any questions and regularly arrange educational CPD training sessions. Additionally, the technical team attend events nationwide and will shortly be exhibiting Envirograf’ s products at The Fire Safety Event, NEC, Birmingham, from Tuesday 28 to Thursday 30 April 2026.
TRUSTED FIRE PROTECTION
The company’ s ever-increasing range of fire protection products continue to be key to fire safety considerations within the property sector, with the need for reliable fire protection products being highlighted by devastating headline news building fires in Switzerland and Glasgow in just the first three months of 2026. Envirograf’ s mission remains to save lives and protect property via their preventative passive fire protection systems, and the company’ s products have been trusted to protect modern key infrastructure projects such as London’ s new Canary Wharf Crossrail Station, plus national historic sites such as Rochester Cathedral in Kent.
