Timber Weld though is sure to be the main talking point at the show running between 1and 4 May and the product that will be capturing everyone’ s attention. This unique patented method for joining PVCU or aluminium windows is revolutionising the industry. It’ s no wonder, given its impressive capabilities.
The Timber Weld technique creates a perfect“ wooden butt-joint,” resembling a traditional mortise and tenon joint, which is visible on both the interior and exterior of the window. This innovative method eliminates the unsightly diagonal weld lines and corner grooves that are so commonly associated with plastic windows. Chigwell Window Centre PLC has embraced this distinctive corner joining technique to offer our customers the option of having their windows feature this system. It provides perfectly sealed corners and recreates the authentic timber look that Timber Weld is renowned for and which our customers are really embracing.

Building on the success of last year’ s exhibition at Grand Designs Live, Chigwell Window Centre is returning to stand G10 at the Excel London Exhibition Centre from 1st to 4th May 2026. As well as Timber Weld they will also be showcasing their premium range of bespoke glazing solutions, which have earned them a reputation for excellence.

We’ d exhibited at small local shows in the past, but Grand Designs Live really was the next level. It represented a significant investment for the company, not only the designing and building of a bespoke exhibition stand but also producing promotional material and staffing before, during and after the event. It is a decision that really paid off though. We were absolutely delighted by the amount of business generated over the four days and which is still coming in now.”
Chigwell Window Centre PLC will also be running their very popular“ win a free door” competition again at the exhibition. Last year’ s winners were a young couple from Kent who were in the middle of a house renovation and who were absolutely over the moon when they won.
