WHY QUALITY MATTERS

Quality aesthetics
Italian design is renowned around the world for its aesthetic strengths and that is also evident in ScreenLine ® systems. The technical team has succeeded in ensuring the width of the header rail and side guides is kept to a minimum, which is not the case for all integral blind systems. Integral blinds may disappoint end-users if a larger proportion of the glass area is lost than expected, chiefly because light transmission and views are more obstructed when the blinds are raised. So it is important to consider this aspect of an integral blind’ s design.
The look of the user interface makes a real difference to end-users too. The manually operated ScreenLine ® C System, for example, has a cord-pull and winder that is visually unobtrusive to ensure it does not interfere with the visual dynamics and clean sightlines that many integral blind buyers are looking for. And the cordless magnetic slider that controls the ScreenLine ® SV( Sliding Venetian) System is both ergonomically designed and as small as possible to keep its presence low-key while at the same time as being practical.
The appeal of the control device for the W Smart battery-operated and MB System brushless motorised blinds is also optimised. Both feature a device with a contemporary design that is very much in line with other home tech systems, such as smart thermostats and video doorbells.
Quality manufacture
Using world-class systems, products and components is fundamental to the quality of integral blind units, but so too is the way that they are assembled in the factory. All the integral blind IGUs we manufacture are dual sealed to optimise gas retention in the long term, and we use purpose-designed warm edge spacer bars to maximise thermal performance.
Quality assurance is integrated into the whole manufacturing process at our state-of-the-art production facility near Leeds where we produce up to 4,000 units every week. No integral blind unit leaves our factory without going through quality checks at a variety of key production stages, and every unit is barcoded for easy traceability should in issue ever arise.
This means there is a complete history to the blind – who was involved in assembling the unit in the production process, which components and systems were used and who checked the unit’ s finished quality.
Quality service
Great products are only the best when they are backed with service at the same level, and that’ s exactly what underpins Morley Glass’ s approach to the market.
This all starts with our team being set up in a way that means installers receive an initial quote for integral blinds usually within 60 minutes. And this fast response extends in manufacturing too with our industry-leading turnaround time of as little as 10-12 working days applying to all systems. We also have our own fleet to be able to provide reliable, complimentary delivery too, helping installers to avoid delays.
The quality of service is just as important at the aftersales stage. There is nothing more frustrating than not being able to get the help you need to answer a question or resolve a query, which is why our customer service team is trained to help, supported by our nationwide service engineers. This all adds up to a quality service package that we believe is as valuable as any product innovation.
Quality guarantees
A product guarantee is only as good as what stands behind it. That’ s why we have a robust agreement in place with Pellini to offer manufacturer backed guarantees on all the ScreenLine ® integral blinds sold under our Uni-Blinds ® brand.
This means every Uni-Blind ® product comes with a five-year guarantee on the sealed unit and integral blind and a two-year guarantee on the external blind components. What this means is that if any manufacturer defects arise during these periods, we will respond fast to either assign a Morley Glass service engineer to visit the end user’ s property to complete the necessary repairs, or supply our installer customers with new components to fit, providing it is a simple fix.
Ultimately, we offer a guarantee that is no nonsense and backed by two companies that have been operating for decades – Morley Glass was founded more than 20 years ago, and Pellini more than 50 years. That longevity matters when you want peace of mind that you may need to claim on the guarantee several years down the line.
So why do all these quality factors matter?
We believe that aligning your business with manufacturers committed to excellence is key to long term success. That’ s why when you choose ScreenLine ® integral blinds from Morley Glass, you get a proven, high quality solution backed by decades of expertise. From engineering and aesthetics to manufacturing, service and guarantees, every detail is designed to deliver reliability and customer satisfaction. It’ s a premium product that helps installers stand out and build lasting trust amongst their customers.
