This advanced unit features a 0.5 mm centre pane and delivers U-values as low as 0.7 W / m 2 K, setting a new benchmark for thermal performance within the UPVC window market. Importantly, this performance gain has been achieved without the traditional trade-offs associated with triple glazing.
A key benefit for installers is that the new unit increases overall window weight by only around 5 % compared to a standard double-glazed unit. This marginal increase significantly improves manual handling on site, reduces installation fatigue, and helps installers maintain safe working practices.
