The growth of aluminium window and doors in the domestic sector has been one of the defining trends in home improvement over recent years. Once seen primarily as a commercial material, aluminium has now become popular with consumers driven by demand for slim sightlines, colour choice and design versatility. Lee Darcy, Sales and Marketing Manager at Heritage Trade Frames, discusses how its helping installers move confidently into the growing domestic aluminium market.
The shift in retail aluminium has created new opportunities for installers who want to expand their offer without compromising on efficiency or quality. It’ s an area we at Heritage Trade Frames identified early, recognising the growing appetite for aluminium windows and doors and focusing our efforts on helping customers diversify their offer with confidence.
That foresight has paid off. Our investment in aluminium has been one of our strongest growth areas over the past three years, supported by our long-standing partnership with Stellar Aluminium.
We were among the first fabricators in the UK to adopt the multi-award-winning Stellar system, and today we are proud to be one of the largest Stellar fabricators in the country.
Our aluminium range covers the complete Stellar offer including the slimline bifold door, French doors, residential flush and fully flush casement windows and the lift and slide patio system. Earlier this year, we further expanded that portfolio
with the introduction of the Stellar Inline Sliding Door, designed to meet growing demand for sleek, modern patio systems that suit everyday living.
