Going the extra mile for charity
» PEDOMETERS IN HAND , THE team at Reynaers Aluminium UK have raised over £ 3000 for Birmingham Mind charity after clocking up more than 2000km in a collective step challenge .
Far surpassing the collective goal of 970km , the team achieved 2,003km – the equivalent of walking from Lands ’ End to John o ’ Groats , then from Reynaers ’ Birmingham headquarters to its global head office in Duffel , Belgium , and halfway back too .
In doing so , the team not only doubled the target step count , but demonstrated
Reynaers ’ core values : # Daring , # Caring , # Passionate and # United , with some members being awarded a sustainable medal for their contributions to the campaign .
As a result of the step challenge and subsequent donations Reynaers has now donated £ 3050 to Birmingham Mind , which provides advice , information and support for people affected by mental health issues . Birmingham Mind also supported Pam Herbert in qualifying as the first Mental Health First Aider at Reynaers Aluminium UK .

» MILA IS DELIGHTED TO announce that it will be sponsoring three PiGs ( People in Glazing Society ) events in 2025 , including the highly anticipated BiG PiG Summer Boat Party in July .
Founded in 2004 , PiGs is a networking group for the glass and glazing industry , with events each year taking place throughout the UK .

Workplace culture certification follows investment in employee experience

» REHAU UK HAS BEEN awarded the prestigious Great Place to Work ® certification ; a global certification standard that evaluates workplace culture , employee experience , and leadership behaviours . REHAU also secured a participation percentage of over 89 % of employees completing the sixty-statement survey .
This follows a year where REHAU has invested

significantly in its employee experience , including the enhancements of four key locations . For example , REHAU ’ s factory in Blaenau Ffestiniog , which has won REHAU Group ’ s ‘ Site of the Year ’ award for the last two years , underwent a revamp in January to improve its training facilities for an enhanced learning experience .
