Annual Predictions

Goodbye 2024 …

What is in store for 2025 ?

ANDY BELL , KEYFRAME UK

This time last year we knew that 2024 it was going to be an interesting and challenging prospect . We , just like our competitors , experienced a fall in business . The industry has reported a 20-25 % drop in turnover , Keyframe experienced a downturn in orders of approximately 11 % on sales 2023 .

Although we fell short of our project targets , we could treat this as somewhat of a success . We attribute this to two factors : the diverse nature of our customer companies and their business models , but also their ability to successfully manage and develop to maintain their market share . This was partially made possible by Keyframe ’ s ability to meet their most demanding requirements ; providing them with the confidence they needed to go out and sell , knowing that they would not be let down on quality and delivery .
There were obvious external influences throughout with high interest rates , political chaos , supply shortages , etc . these potentially could have affected our ability to fulfill their orders , but these obstacles had little or no impact on our performance .
Now , what are the predictions for 2025 ?
In the words of the famous song by D : Ream that launched the Labour Party ’ s successful Political campaign for the Blair Government in 1997 : “ Things could only get better .”
As it stands today , no matter what your political persuasion , when you listen to economists , financial organisations , employers in the manufacturing and retail sector , entertainment , social care , or for that matter practically every sector of society , with the election of our new Labour Government , you name it everybody is feeling the effects of their policies .
