DHF ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH OF ITS ONLINE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION FORM

» DOOR & HARDWARE Federation ( DHF ) has announced that from September 3rd 2024 , it will be launching an online membership application form . The new digital approach will yield significant benefits on a number of levels , predominantly , it will speed up the application process , is easily accessible and will save time .
The Tamworth-based trade association supports six industry sectors and now has more than 550 members . It continues to
be the ‘ go to ’ organisation for technical advice and training which lends itself to raising the standards of the industry . Increasingly , specifiers and end users of industrial and commercial building products , as well as domestic customers , want the reassurance of quality , safety and compliance with legislation when choosing products , and membership of a forward-looking trade association such as DHF enables individuals and companies to demonstrate compliance and the adherence to industry standards .
“ DHF is consistently seeking ways to streamline processes ,” says DHF ’ s Commercial Director , Patricia Sowsbery-Stevens . “ This move to an electronic application will contribute to our green credentials , reducing environmental impact and our carbon footprint .”

New Online Portal Upgrades Customer Service

» APEER HAS LAUNCHED a new , online customer services portal that provides a more efficient way for trade partners to register aftersales and warranty queries as well as making it easier to follow up on their progress . When logged into the new portal , Apeer ’ s trade partners will also have direct access to product technical information and documentation , detailed care , fitting and warranty guides , plus additional FAQs and valuable marketing materials .
The product of eight month ’ s intensive development by Apeer ’ s dedicated technical team , the new , bespoke portal has been created entirely in-house and as a result has been expertly tailored to the needs of its extensive customer base .
Apeer ’ s Managing Director , Asa McGillian , explained : “ Trade partners can still use our existing customer service , cs @ apeer . co . uk if they wish , but the new portal has been designed to allow them to operate more effectively – it also means they can pass on these efficiencies to the end user , enhancing their own level of service and brand reputation in the process .”

NEW BRISTOL DEPOT IS ‘ SIGNIFICANT MILESTONE ’

» THE WINDOW STORE HAS OPENED its newest trade counter and showroom in Bristol , marking a significant milestone in the company ’ s strategic expansion plan . The company also opened two new branches last year , in Worthing and Christchurch , bringing the total number of stores across the network to 18 .
