£ 300,000 investment in machinery amid record sales year

» FRAMEXPRESS HAS RECENTLY invested over £ 300,000 in new machinery , helping the leading trade fabricator continue delivering its ‘ Higher Spec as Standard ’ products to its customer base .
Housed in its 50,000 sq . ft . Telford manufacturing facility , the new Urban SV 500 Corner Cleaner , Urban AKS1860 / 4 Verti Quad Welder and Urban AKS 5550 Inline Welder are helping meet the increasing demand for Framexpress products , following its record-breaking year of business .
The new additions have also helped prepare the company for its new product developments , including its recently launched FIRE DOORS BY FRAMEXPRESS range of 30 minute Composite Fire , Smoke and Security Doorsets .
Stuart Green , Joint Managing Director at Framexpress , discussing the latest investment says : “ We ’ re always looking for

In addition to new machinery , Framexpress has also acquired a new 15,000 sq . ft . facility in Tweedale – a stone ’ s throw away from its main HQ – and a total of six new delivery vehicles , helping maintain the products and services that no installer can live without .

New nomination for manufacturing excellence

» SHELFORCE HAS BEEN nominated for Excellence in Manufacturing Award at the 2024 Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce Awards .
The leading window and door manufacturer , a service within Birmingham City Council , produces high-quality PVCu and aluminium products to local authority building projects , including fire doors , and is one of 78 businesses chasing glory at the awards .
The awards recognise the remarkable achievements of businesses across Greater Birmingham and celebrate those firms who have gone above and beyond in the past year .
Shelforce has been recognised by the judging panel for its unwavering commitment to excellence and maintaining high standards in the manufacturing
sector and the mark the company has left on the economic landscape and community fabric of Greater Birmingham . It ’ s commitment to inclusivity in the workplace saw Shelforce receive the King ’ s Award for Enterprise in Promoting Opportunity ( through social mobility ) last year .
Shelforce is one of four businesses up for Excellence in Manufacturing , while one of the 11 category winners will be crowned the overall Greater Birmingham Business of the Year – which Shelforce won three years ago .
