Bespoke bi-fold door handles to complement bi-fold range

» YALE HAS BEEN SELECTED AS THE new supplier of door handles for the award-winning Korniche range of bi-fold doors from Made for Trade . Made for Trade took the decision to go with Yale based on the company ’ s technical expertise , manufacturing capabilities and consistent product quality .
The development led to a close collaboration between the technical teams at Made for Trade and Yale to create an enhanced and exclusive design that delivers outstanding durability and strength . The handles have been tested to 100,000 cycles and meet BS 1670 : Grade 5 for 480 hours of neutral salt spray and BS EN 1906:2012 for strength . “ Our Korniche range is all about attractive design combined with robust functionality – it is the finer detail such as the handles that make or break the overall delivery in the eyes of the customer ,” comments Ashley Gaunt , Technical Director at Made for Trade . “ That ’ s why we ’ ve selected

UAP to reveal expanded product range at MLA Expo

» UAP , THE SPECIALIST IN locks and hardware for doors and windows , will be showcasing its latest innovations on stand numbers H2-76 and 77 at MLA Expo 2023 , Europe ’ s largest locksmith exhibition .

On display will be the IONIC , an ultra-secure electronic lock enabling access via a smartphone App . Simple to install and easy to use , the IONIC has been manufactured for timber and composite doors on properties ranging from individual homes and social housing through to student accommodation .
Locksmiths will also be able to view and sample the Fullex Kinetica K4 3-star cylinders . These include the horizontal version of the Kinetica + K4 , which is designed with additional security features such as a smaller keyway , making it even harder to attack .
