The Conservatory Outlet Network Smashes the 24 Hour National Three Peak Challenge
» 18 PARTICIPANTS FROM THE Conservatory Outlet Network have successfully completed the gruelling National Three Peak Challenge in under 24 hours , raising over £ 13,500 for charity .
A lifetime ’ s ambition for many members of the Premium Retailer Network , participants from TWC Home Improvements , 5 Star Windows & Conservatories , R Mitchell Glass , Trademark Windows and Eden Windows jumped at the chance to join CO take on the UK ’ s three highest peaks within the 24 hour deadline . Scaling Ben Nevis ( 1345m ) Scafell Pike ( 978m ) and Snowdon ( 1085m ) in succession , the total ascent topped 3046m – twice that of the Yorkshire Three Peaks – with just 40 % of those who attempt it succeeding within the deadline .
The group couldn ’ t have picked a hotter time to attempt the challenge . Due to the blisteringly hot weather conditions ( topping 28 degrees ) the trip was adjusted to avoid
the warmest parts of the day , and rendered the group ’ s waterproofs , fleeces and hats redundant , even in the early hours of the morning . The buses didn ’ t smell too great travelling between each peak either .
After spending 23 hours climbing or travelling between peaks , the real challenge was on to descend Snowdon with just an hour to go , with participants racing towards the finish line with seconds to spare .

away from the business , and we ’ re all so delighted to have achieved this together – memories that will last a lifetime .
“ Most importantly , we ’ ve raised a phenomenal sum for charity , and would like to offer huge thanks to all our friends , family , customers and suppliers for supporting us – it really means a lot .”
Proceeds will be shared between Macmillan Cancer Support and Prospect House Hospice , with a total of £ 13,500 raised across three Just Giving pages .
