Debut sponsors for G23 Awards

£ 5,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support
» AHEAD OF ITS NATIONAL THREE Peak Challenge , Conservatory Outlet and its premium retailers were thrilled to announce that they have successfully raised over £ 5,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support .
Led by Conservatory Outlet CEO Greg Kane , the group has seen donations flood in from friends , family and commercial partners . And now , the aim is to raise more than £ 6,000 .
The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the highest peaks in Scotland ( Ben Nevis ), England ( Scafell Pike ) and Wales ( Snowdon ), doing so in just 24 hours . The team will walk a combined distance of 23 miles , ascending over 3,000 metres .
Greg says : “ We ’ ve been putting the miles in as we build up to our attempt . Seeing the fundraising total skyrocket has been strong advocates of the event and are delighted to have taken this one step further by officially supporting the Trophy Sponsor at G23 .”
Tony Higgin , Event Organiser , commented : “ As a company who have been supplying window and door hardware to the industry for many decades , their G-Awards sponsorship debut reinforces the standing of the event .”
Now in its 19th year , the G23 Awards has firmly established its position as the ultimate industry event for recognising and rewarding excellence at every level . The awards ceremony is held annually in London , and this year ’ s event will return to the prestigious London Hilton on Park Lane on Friday , 24th November 2023 .

Much-loved colleague & well-known industry figure
» IT IS WITH GREAT SADNESS that we announce the passing of a much-loved colleague and well-known industry figure .
Chris Bailey ( aged just 42 ) succumbed to his illness in the early hours of the morning , in June .
Many of you have been expressing your love and support for Chris , Ashley and their boys Cole ( 15 ) and Jake ( 11 ) over the past few months . We can tell you that has meant so much to all of them and to his wider family .
Chris was a valued colleague at Business Micros for many , many years and made a huge contribution to the business . His skill set in understanding operational and machining complexities and ability to add real value for customers was widely acknowledged .
In his last few years , he extended that out into the marketplace working alongside customers and machinery suppliers both at home and abroad .
We will miss him , we will miss his humour , we will miss his casual observations often funny , often accurate and above all we will miss him for the kind , supportive person he was .
Rest in peace .
