FROM THE EDITOR

In ‘ Summery ’

With three magazines , weekly newsletters , social media – and events – we like to stay busy at Clearview Group .
» AND , AS WE REACH THE HALFWAY MARK FOR 2023 , there ’ s no slowing down to bask in the sunshine ( good job at the moment ) as we have even more excitement coming up . June marks the second ever Clearview Golf Day ; from July , our little sister magazine The Locksmith Journal is increasing to 12 issues a year instead of six ; Pro Installer has upped its pagination ( again ) and we ’ re getting ready for our summer editions of Clearview and Pro Installer ( including our official FIT Show reviews ) – it ’ s all systems go .
Speaking of systems , as we ’ re busier than ever at the moment , we learn a lot from the companies and customers we work with to try and keep everything running smoothly . Processes fascinate me and it ' s one of the reasons I still love a factory tour , whenever we get the chance ( cake and sandwiches are a strong contender ).
FIT Show last month proved that face-to-face is hard to replace when it comes to catching up . A lot of people appreciated this more post-pandemic but it ’ s something we ’ ve always taken a lot of pride in at Clearview , and our enthusiasm of getting out and about , and going to see customers is often commented on .
Most of the time , the brands and businesses that impress us the most are the ones that manage to combine technological advancement with improvement of their team , balancing internal culture with industry reputation , the perfect products with the perfect people . One feeds into the other , we believe and both bolster our sector for the betterment of everyone and everything . We try to do the same here .
Recently , I have spoken to people in the industry who have talked about improvement through working together and making the market bigger , rather than taking from each other or being the only option . Likewise , when we talk about innovation , how can we be as innovative with our thinking and our approach as we are to our products and processes ?
It ’ s an exciting time at Clearview , because it ’ s an exciting time in our industry . There ’ s so much scope on the horizon that everyone can be a part of and be proud of . I think many will agree there was a real buzz at the FIT Show , and I can ’ t wait to see how this enthusiasm continues throughout the year and beyond .
See you next time , Gemma
