It ’ s what ’ s on the ‘ inside ’ for entrance upgrade
» EPWIN WINDOW SYSTEMS CURtain walling system and Optima windows have been installed in an entrance to a block of residential flats in the Greystone Gardens area of Rutherglen , Glasgow . Owned by Rutherglen & Cambuslang Housing Association , the project required upgrading six windows , main entrance
door and curtain walling screening 8077m high x 2360m wide across the three stories of the building .
The contract was secured by Gold Seal Home Care Ltd , an Epwin Window Systems fabricator and installer that has been supplying and fitting window systems in all parts of Scotland for over 30 years . Working closely with the inhouse Epwin Window Systems commercial specification team , Gold Seal Home Care Ltd were able to find the most effective project solution to help Rutherglen & Cambuslang Housing Association manage its budget and ensure they secured the contract . The commercial specification team was also on hand throughout the entire process as part of the company ’ s end-to-end service available for all commercial projects , regardless of project size .

Epwin Window Systems ’ curtain walling is a high-performing thermally broken aluminium system which is PVC-U clad both internally and externally for warmth and low maintenance benefits .
Following an initial onsite survey to establish the project requirements , the Epwin Window Systems commercial team produced detailed specification drawings to demonstrate the proposed solution . They also developed fabrication cutting lists and provided fabrication assistance . The products were manufactured in Hazy Grey on White to match the building ’ s aesthetics and provide a seamless visual finish .
Installation was scheduled for January . Despite the winter weather conditions , the expertise of everyone involved meant the project took just three days to complete .

First showroom gets total refurb
» CHIGWELL WINDOW CENTRE , the window and door replacement specialist servicing London , Essex and the South East is delighted to announce that the total refurbishment of the company ’ s first showroom in Collier Row is now complete .
Collier Row opened in 2016 and was followed by Loughton in 2021 and a few weeks ago the company ’ s third showroom in Brentwood .
The decision was taken that Collier Row was in need of a revamp to bring it up to the high standards of the other two premises , and over the past three months has been dramatically transformed into a stunning , modern and airy space full of some of the industry ’ s best window and door products .
Chigwell Window Centre manufactures , supplies and installs a wide range of aluminium and uPVC windows and doors from their factories and a new distribution centre in Essex and have continued to see significant growth both in the residential and commercial sectors over the past few years .
Collier Row , like Chigwell Window Centre ’ s other showrooms is not only full of quality home improvement products , but also includes features such as a bar ensuring that all customers have an enjoyable , helpful , informative , engaging and inspiring visit .
