Steve Sidebottom , Clearview Director recently visited the Reynaers Campus in Duffel , Belgium on a press trip with some of UK ’ s finest fenestration trade publications . Thank you to all at Reynaers for a fabulous few days , and here ’ s what Steve saw …
» “ I RECENTLY VISITED the home to the global business that is still owned by the Reynaers family . It ’ s clear to see why and how the business has grown ; trading in over 40 countries with more than 2650 employees and in excess of 5000 partners worldwide . The group got a brief insight into products and services but more importantly the people and culture on which the business has been based .
“ Reynaers is built on four key values that is woven into everything they do resulting in impressive people , products and innovation : Daring – Caring – Passionate – United . It ’ s really interesting to see how these values actually ‘ live ’ within the business and play an important role for each individual .
“ A great example of being daring and passionate is that the group experienced Reynaers ’ Virtual Reality suite , which allows architects and stakeholders to view details of their projects and make decisions utilising the five sides suite , 25 laser projectors creating hi-res images from the specially configured application for Architects .
“ The Reynaers Aluminium Technology Centre is the largest privately-owned facility in Europe . We saw examples of tests taking place and video evidence of the lengths that Reynaers goes to to ensure every aspect of every project is tested to the highest standards taking into account climates around the world , including comfort , air , wind and water tightness , acoustic and thermal insulation .
“ When it comes to ‘ united and caring ’, the Reynaers UK business is based in Birmingham ; ideally situated for UK wide distribution , and completed a multi-million pound expansion in 2022 . The UK business boasts a wealth of talent and experience led by Technical Director , John McComb . His team offers support and training to commercial developers , architects and fabricators , along with experienced sales and marketing support lead by Sam Hill ; who has just celebrated her first anniversary with the business , as Head of Marketing .
“ Back in Belgium , our press trip finished with a very interesting tour of Antwerp to view some impressive projects showcasing Reynaers Aluminium products , and concluded with a brewery tour to Het Anker brewery ; (“ when in Belgium ” ) where we learned about their history and samples some of their delightful special editions , so a great finish to our trip . On the brewery theme , let ’ s raise a toast to Reynaers ’ continued success and commitment to sustainable growth .
