Annual Predictions

“ TRANSFORMATIONS PROPOSITION WILL BE HUGE ”

ALEX HEWITT , MARKETING DIRECTOR , ULTRAFRAME
» WITH THE RISING COST OF LIVING and in particular , the energy crisis , we believe that more so than ever in 2023 , homeowners will be extremely focused on ensuring the energy efficiency of their homes and getting the absolute best value out of any investment into their property . Many of those wanting to extend their home may now be on a lower budget and think about updating their existing conservatory instead of a full new build to minimise costs .
However , upgrading a conservatory with our new hup ! system can be equally as good as a new build , because the system is so light , even with walls and a solid roof , the new hup ! structure can be up to 20-30 % lighter than the old conservatory , so the existing base can be utilised . Replacement roofs have always been popular with homeowners and with installers . However , we think that 2023 will be the year of the hup ! conservatory transformation as this represents great value for both homeowners and installers .
In fact , hup ! offers a fantastic solution not just because of its speed ( most
transformations are built and watertight in 2-4 days ) but value for money is also assured as hup ! offers new build quality at a lower cost than a traditional build , but with the same increase in home value once complete .
The other huge plus point to doing a conservatory transformation with hup ! is that homeowners actually get more for their money . This is because hup ! walls are 27 % slimmer than building with bricks and mortar and so the internal floor space is actually increased when doing a conservatory transformation with hup !.
We really think that hup ! has come at the perfect time for installers and homeowners and that in 2023 our transformations proposition will be huge - allowing installers to win business from local builders , relying less on external skills / trades and ultimately , taking more of the profit .

“ There are always opportunities ”

“ As we look forward to 2023 , it ’ s hard to ignore the challenges our industry continues to face . With the wider economic downturn causing consumer confidence to waver , as well as energy price pressures and the continued raw material volatility , coupled with rising interest rates , means growth will be difficult .
SARAH HITCHINGS , SALES AND MARKETING DIRECTOR , WINDOW WIDGETS
» “ CUSTOMER DEMAND HAS REMAINED strong as we end 2022 . While the ongoing cost of living crisis has led to many consumers tightening their purse-strings , we are equally seeing many customers deciding to invest in their homes with high quality improvements , as opposed to selling in an unpredictable property market .
“ We predict that premium , high-end and quality products will be able to maintain a better level of demand in 2023 , as opposed to their more mainstream counterparts .
“ Despite these pressures , there are always opportunities , with new product launches and the chance to spend more strategic time with our customers after the chaos of the past couple of years . We are invested in new tooling and launching a dedicated door system in 2023 , which will take us into a new market of entrance doors and complete the full timber alternative suite for our collection .
“ We have also developed a new concealed trickle vent along with further product enhancements to complement our systems , so 2023 will be an exciting time for us .”
