Support for Fire Door Safety Week
» YALE PLEDGED ITS SUPPORT TO Fire Door Safety Week 2022 ( 31st October – 4th November ), reinforcing its commitment to fire safety in residential , commercial and public buildings .
Fire doors are one of the most fundamental elements of a building ’ s passive fire protection , acting as the first line of defence in a fire and providing the vital minutes for occupants to evacuate the building safely .
With this in mind , Yale has a full suite of security hardware to help provide protection against fires . This includes the AutoEngage multi-point door lock which
has recently been tested by Heron Fit Out and passed the requirements of the FD30s fire test .

Taking the lead in London on fire door compliance
» BUSINESS MANAGER AT LEADING Birmingham window and door manufacturer Shelforce , Howard Trotter , will join a stellar panel at London Build on Wednesday , November 16 at Olympia London ’ s Grand Hall .
The Golden Thread for Fire Doors seminar will focus on the key stages within the life cycle of a fire doorset and what is required to ensure compliance .
For the last two years , Shelforce has manufactured and supplied its fully compliant Fireshel 30-minure fire , smoke , and security resistant door to Local Authorities and Howard will discuss the manufacture of fire doorsets with 3rd Party accreditation and the importance of compliance from a council and responsible persons perspective .
