More than £ 2700 for firm friend Anthony Lockley
» STAFFORDSHIRE-BASED WINdows and doors firm , Target Windows has more than quintupled its £ 500 fundraising goal for friend and MND sufferer , Anthony Lockley . Through ongoing fundraising efforts during the first half of this year , including conquering a famous mountain climb in July , the company has donated a cheque for a staggering £ 2,769 .
The money raised is to support Anthony , a friend of the family-owners and directors Jane Basnett and Mick Tune , after his recent diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease , and will go towards giving the family a better quality of life , as well as funding much-needed physiotherapy aids , equipment , care and house adaptations as they learn to live with MND .
The company has also installed a new front door at Anthony ’ s family home - kindly donated by Central Window Systems - which has an approved low access threshold making life much easier for the family getting in and out of the house .
The firm has now closed the Just Giving page , but you are still able to donate to Anthony by visiting one of the showrooms based in Stone and Uttoxeter .
