The new DAF 290CF 18-tonne boxed vehicle features built-in glass racks , six-way cameras – including cameras located internally to monitor cargo – upgraded lighting and sign writing , and the latest tail lifts that are designed to be tucked neatly away when not in use .
As part of Quickslide ’ s continued focus on efficiency , the entire logistics operation is linked to its EvoNET business management system , which arranges deliveries in the most efficient order and uses the

vehicle ’ s sat-nav systems to provide the most efficient route . It also keeps customers up-to-date with the status of their delivery through automatic text messages and email alerts . |
The vehicles also come with full air-conditioning and mod cons including a fridge and microwave , to provide a comfortable working environment for drivers out on the road .

Black is the new black with new blind colour option
» MORLEY GLASS HAS added a new black option for its Venetian Uni-Blinds ® integral blinds range to provide the perfect solution in darker coloured frames , especially popular anthracite grey windows and doors .
The new blind system , which as with all Uni-Blinds ® is custom-made to fit precisely within the cavity of a double or triple glazed unit , is all black – that means the slats , the cords , header unit and sideguides where applicable are perfectly colour matched . The new product is the result of the close partnership between Morley Glass and ScreenLine ® integral blinds manufacturer Pellini S . p . A ., who pioneered this type of shading and privacy system in the 1970s .
The black option brings the number of Uni-Blinds ® integral Venetian blind colours to eleven , giving any homeowner or commercial customer the opportunity to coordinate the blinds with their décor , whatever the colour scheme . As with all colours , five different control systems are available for black Venetian Uni-Blinds ® integral blinds , including the popular cordless slider controlled SV System and the smart-home compatible MB System , which can be integrated with home-automation systems .

Exclusive Vertical Slider added to impressive offering
» PORTSMOUTH BASED HALO fabricator ; Window Warehouse have recently added the heritage style Vertical Slider ( VS ) to their already impressive offering .
Remi Cake , Operations Director at Window Warehouse said , “ Although we have supplied the VS to our customers for a while now , the facility to fabricate in house brings many benefits . We are now able to respond quickly , reduce lead times , and offer a much better customer experience .”
The VS has a range of optional features , to create a contemporary , classic or heritage look , ensuring that the windows remain sympathetic to a buildings age and character and in turn increasing the number of applications and sales opportunities . It is supplied fully mechanical with a fitting bead bar as standard – which is beneficial for coastal locations – with no welded outer frame and the option of a welded sash .
