With the growth of the composite door industry in recent years – composite and PVC doors account for more than half of all doors sold in the UK – manufacturers are offering every colour imaginable to both developers and homeowners .
With this in mind , ARRONE has designed the suited range to have mass appeal . The products will work aesthetically with most door designs , architectural styles and building materials making it ideal for use in both new build and refurbishment projects .
The suited range provides a practical solution for those supplying doors for larger developments , where individually-designed homes require a coherent thread running throughout . Manufacturers can order large quantities and have peace of mind that they can call off on site , as and when needed .
The products within the range also lend themselves to a diverse range of projects . The AR7550 lever handle has a 10.7mm backplate depth , so design changes to the door should not be needed if switching to the ARRONE handle from an alternative product . Standardising the size of the back plate has been an important consideration with the long backplate fixing designed to cover the majority of lock applications , further simplifying the selection process for specifiers .
There are two different styles of knocker , both with and without viewer , and four styles of pull handle to choose from . There is also a security shroud that protects the cylinder and is sufficient to prevent access and acts as a visual deterrent .
Colour matched fixings come as standard , and a version of the range is also available for manufacturers of PVC doors .
Product testing Specifying door hardware can be complex . While the products aesthetics are obviously important , manufacturers still need to prioritise the security and accessibility requirements , as well as long term performance .
Quality is synonymous with HOPPE brands because its products are tested to ensure flawless operation . These tests closely reflect the everyday knocks hardware has to take and extend beyond the requirements of performance standards such as BS EN 1906 .
As part of its commitment to high quality products , the ARRONE AR7550 handle has been tested to 200,000 cycles and has a 10-year mechanical operation guarantee , as long as assembly and maintenance guidelines are followed . It has also achieved the highest corrosion resistance grade under BS EN 1670 making it suitable for use in exposed marine atmospheres or very polluted industrial environments .
