Last year , our Partners reported a spike in requests for internal glazed doors in response to the growing trend for ‘ broken plan ’ living spaces . This allows homeowners to create separate ‘ zones ’ in their home for various functions , such as home-working , without losing the light and spacious feel of open-plan living . Glazed doors offer a fantastic option for those looking to incorporate this trend into their homes as they break up the space without interrupting the flow of natural light entering the home .
We responded quickly to this feedback , identifying a clear gap in the market for a high-quality internal glazed door at an affordable price . Our latest product launch , the OI-30 Internal Door , is the result . Our first ever interior product , the door offers our Partners even more variety when speaking to customers .
Whilst there are other options for steellook internal doors on the market , they are either of poor quality , or are out of most people ’ s price range . The Origin offering addresses this , opening up the possibility of internal glazed doors to homeowners across the country .
Made from premium-grade aluminium , the OI-30 features a sleek steel-look frame with slim sightlines . The system is also fully customisable . Minimum widths for a single door begin at 300mm and extend to a maximum size of 1000mm . Height starts at 1500mm and extends to 2500mm , offering lots of flexibility . For larger apertures , fixed frames can also be added to the top and / or side of a door .
The system can be specified to incorporate several glazing types , depending on customer preferences or needs . It is also compatible with clear , frosted , and reeded glass for added privacy , extending its uses to utilities and bathrooms .
The OI-30 can be configurated as a fixed , single , French , or corner doors . Plus , it can be specified with kickplates or solid panels at the bottom to help homeowners minimise fingerprints and scratches and aid with opening when hands are full .
