Fitter than ever
» “ A GREAT JOB BY ALL ,” WAS THE VERDICT from Solar Calibre Doors managing director , Gareth Jones , on FIT Show 2022 . This is the first time the recently formed business attended FIT Show , a decision that has reaped dividends .
With the industry generally expecting
a downturn in the market , Solar Calibre received a lot of interest in its higher end products that offer significant margin potential , notably the Craftsman timber door . Many visitors were pleasantly surprised to see that the Craftsman brand is the resurrection of the former Masterdor . And , with a growing demand for high performing , energy efficient products , the focus was on the new Portium range , which Solar Calibre showcased to the industry at FIT . Similarly , the new Passivhaus solution was a head-turner .
“ We were keen to hear what visitors to FIT had to say about our new Portium range including our Passivhaus door ,” said Gareth . “ This was something of a test bed for us , and the response endorsed our own confidence in these specialist products which we will now look to roll out in the coming months .”

Delighted with FIT Show Debut
» WENDLAND , ONE OF THE UK ’ S LEADING lantern and conservatory roof brands , received a tremendous response to its recent FIT Show debut . The company ’ s stand , which featured the popular Wendland Lantern as its focus , was busy on each day of the show with visitors all wanting to learn more about the product range and marketing support .
Wendland Brand Manager , Chloe McGrath , said : “ Although Wendland has been established since 1995 , we have always been a bit of a ‘ well-kept secret ’. After re-launching our Lantern in recent years , we felt that the 2022 FIT Show was the perfect place for us to reconnect with the industry .”
Wendland sells its wide range of conservatory and extension roofing solutions to fabricators , trade counters , and installers from its Lancashire base and operates on an ethos of high quality at low prices . Both the rectangular and more recently introduced square designs were on show at FIT , with members of the Wendland team on hand to answer questions about the products and the support available to sell them .

FABRICATOR FOCUSSED AT FIT
» AFTER TWO YEARS OF BEING POSTPONED APECS finally got to attend the FIT Show for the first time and what an incredible exhibition it was . APECS ’ s attendance at the FIT Show aimed to achieve brand awareness and growth within the fenestration sector , which it most certainly did . We had an incredible reception to our headline product , the AP 3 * Diamond grade cylinder - complete with a 10-year manufacturing guarantee , 5-year snap-safe guarantee and five keys - the cylinder is an all-around option for any fabricator ; feedback on the product certainly reflected that .
It was incredible to welcome faces old and new onto the stand , concreting some relationships and making new ones .
