ORIGIN LAUNCHES NEW INTERNAL DOOR
The UK ’ s leading manufacturer of premium doors and windows , Origin , has unveiled its latest product launch – the OI-30 ( Internal Door ).
Latest addition gives installation companies advantage
» DISTINCTION DOORS IS PROUD to introduce the latest addition to its nxt-gen range ; evocative of 1930s , inter-war door designs , the nxt-gen Craftsman launches in two size – 838mm and 914mm . The glazing area can be enhanced with five decorative glass designs – Aspen , Edwardian , Kara Brass , Monza and Palma .
The new door style is available in White , Distinction Anthracite Grey and colours from the Distinction Doors bespoke colour palette , including six new colours .
With this new addition , the Distinction Doors nxt-gen range now includes seven door styles all with the company ’ s exclusive flush-fitted beaded system and moulding . Hugely beneficial to Distinction fabrication customers , this range has the competitive edge requiring significantly less glazing time and consumables .

» THE OI-30 IS DESIGNED TO SEPARATE home and office footprints into practical spaces . It revolutionises interior design by allowing light to travel unhindered through the building , creating the sense of space
and airiness that homeowners want , while providing protection from noise and distraction that they value . It is also a great option for commercial spaces to section out individual offices .
With ultra-slim sightlines , the internal door can accommodate 4mm , 6mm or 6.8mm glazing , and installers can opt for clear , frosted , or reeded glass , allowing them to offer homeowners the benefits of privacy where required while still maximising light .
Minimum widths for a single door begin at 300mm and extend to a maximum size of 1000mm . Height starts at 1500mm and extends to 2500mm , offering lots of flexibility . Additionally , fixed frames can be added to the top or side to fill larger apertures .
The OI-30 is available in a multitude of configurations , including fixed , single , French , and corner styles .

The fds GRP composite fire door system has undergone in excess of 30 bi-directional tests featuring 60 individual door sets , undertaken in three independent accredited European countries ’ test Laboratories and achieving an average of 45 minutes integrity ( equating to 50 % over run of the 30 minute pass criteria ).
Tested to the more demanding EN1634-1:2014 European standard it satisfies our UK National Test standard method and delivers compliance to UK building Regulations for fire door safety .
