Management strengthened with new appointments and promotions

The company has welcomed Kevin Pratley as the new office manager . With over 20 years experience in the industry , Kevin has extensive knowledge and understanding of the

As investing in the personal development of its existing workforce is just as important to SupaLite as recruiting new talent , two members of SupaLite staff have also recently been promoted to management level .
Laura Cort , who previously worked in the sales

department , is the newly appointed customer services manager . Since joining the organisation in 2018 , Laura has moved from sales to overseeing the customer services team . Her role ensures SupaLite customers are continuously supported , from ordering a product right through to installation and aftercare .
Luke Carter also recently received a promotion internally

to technical manager . His position will focus heavily on new SupaLite products as well as reviewing the current ways of working to help make improvements across the organisation .

Joining the company in 2001 , both Julie and Pamela have been prominent figures at Carl F Groupco and key drivers of one of the most successful product ranges for the company , Roto FRH UNI reversible window hardware . Julie has provided technical customer support for the range ,
‘ key drivers of one of the most successful product ranges for the company ’ managing stock and orders , while Pamela has worked directly with fabricators to increase sales and provide dedicated hardware support across her region .
Julie and Pamela join a number of other Carl F Groupco colleagues who have achieved long service accolades , with two thirds of the company ’ s workforce reaching the ten-year milestone . The knowledge and expertise gained by the teams ’ experience allows Carl F Groupco to provide outstanding technical support and continue the unwavering commitment to OTIF delivery service .

NEW TRANSPORT MANAGER DRIVES OPERATIONS
» TIM TOFTE HAS JOINED VEKA Recycling as Transport Manager , the latest in a series of new appointments at the PVC-U window and door recycling specialist as the business continues its drive to strengthen operations .
Tim brings with him 13 years of experience in road haulage , including as a Transport Manager for third-party logistics companies including Bibby Distribution , Maritime Transport Ltd and Wreford Transport , which ran contracts for Coca Cola , Mercedes , Amazon , Carlsberg , Royal Mail , Salvation Army and Wicksteed , among others .
“ My immediate role includes the management of yard staff , weighbridge staff , drivers and the transport office , all of which involves effective planning of both time and resources ,” said Tim . “ In the medium to long term , I ’ m hoping to grow customer relationships , help set up new customers and manage their expectations within the business .
“ I am looking forward to helping identify any areas within transport that may need refining and implementing any changes needed . I ’ ll also be encouraging the team to take on new challenges and further all of our knowledge and skills ,
helping improve the processes of both my team and the wider VEKA Recycling operations in the process .”
