Receiving recognition through awards

» AT ORIGIN , WE ’ RE PASSIONATE about championing UK manufacturing and our role within it , and one of the primary ways we do this is through entering industry specific and UK-wide business awards . We ’ re proud to be a British manufacturer and we believe it ’ s important to shout about the incredible advancements being made within our sector . It also gives us the opportunity to gain some well-deserved recognition for the Origin family and all the hard work they put in every day . As well as this , award successes give our Partners even more confidence in us as a supplier .
So far in 2021 , Origin has been shortlisted for seven awards . With awards season fast approaching , we are excited to see how we fair in turning these nominations into wins . Most recently , we have been shortlisted at the highly regarded MAKE UK Manufacturing Awards , the nationally recognised Growing Business Awards , and twice at the industry ’ s gold standard MX Awards .
We ’ re incredibly proud of these achievements , especially as we are listed alongside some huge household names . These nominations are testament to the effort that goes in behind the scenes at Origin , from our own workforce all the way through to our Partners who help deliver our brand to homes across the country .

Origin ’ s continued business growth and increasing success is a direct result of manufacturing best in class products , providing our Partners with an industry-leading ‘ goldstandard ’ of service , and the unrivalled lead times we offer , which are as short as 24-hours .
Of course , we must also credit a large proportion of the business ’ success to our core values and the Origin family . Although we have grown considerably since the business was established in 2002 , the family ethos that Victoria and Neil founded Origin on remains unchanged , which is no mean feat . We have over 290 employees now , but our culture remains at the heart of everything we do .
Receiving recognition through awards pushes Origin onto greater things , so even with considerable success already this season , we will not be resting on our laurels . Of course , we will take time to celebrate these nominations , and hope we go one step further and bring the trophies home , but we will then get back to work . We will continue to innovate , concentrate on bringing even more Partners into our network which is currently over 1,000 strong , and enhance our credentials as a leading international organisation and employer . Indeed , the future is exciting for Origin .
