Exhibition FIT-ting for 2022
profine UK and its revered KÖMMERLING brand of high performance PVCu window and door systems , are backing the decision by organisers to move the FIT Show back to 10-12th May 2022 after consultation with exhibitors .
» profine Group is also fully committed to Fensterbau 2022 which will take place from 29th March to 1st April in Nuremberg , where organisers will again look to be welcoming over 110,00 visitors to the show . Following from this , the expectation is that the FIT Show will be an overwhelming success , after successful vaccination programmes both in the UK and overseas , along with the settling down in product supply and pricing pressures that are currently affecting the domestic sector .
Robert Thiroff , managing director of profine UK and the KÖMMERLING brand commented : “ The combination of a global pandemic , accelerated consumer demand , raw material price increases and product supply issues have affected everyone across the industry if we ’ re all honest . Our focus must therefore be the welfare of our staff , customers and business partners whilst we all work tirelessly on business fundamentals and so moving the show will provide some element of respite for many .”

Knock knock : who wants to sponsor a joke ?
To continue Window Widgets ’ 21st Birthday celebrations , the team has created an adult joke book and kids ’ activity joke book , with the hope to raise £ 21,000 . 50 % of the total will go to GM Fundraising ( Hope House Children ’ s Hospice ) and 50 % to We Mind Kelly Matters ( Suicide and mental health support ).
» FOR THE CHARITY joke books Window Widgets is looking for sponsors of either the whole book , a page within or an individual joke or any combination of . The packages available are :
• £ 2500 for sponsorship of whole book ( the adults joke book is already sponsored , kids one is available )
• £ 500 for a page
• £ 100 for a joke
All monies raised are going direct to the charities , with Window Widgets overing all print , PR and distribution costs .
When the joke books are printed , they ’ ll be available for you to share with your employees , customers , trade counters etc . and you ’ ll also get a mention in social media posts , trade press PR and adverts too .
