» SPECIALIST SAFETY glass manufacturers TuffX recently supplied 15m2 of toughened glass panels for a balustrade surrounding a large , raised terrace , to complete a high-end finish for a residential property in Essex .
The home required an attractive balustrade to keep occupants on the raised terrace safe , without reducing the light that could reach through to the interior of the property .
TuffX supplied fourteen panels of 12mm monolithic toughened safety glass in total , each with dubbed corners . Enhanced for strength and topped with a handrail for comfort , the finished glass balustrade provides the perfect safe solution for the extensive terrace .

» STOWMARKET GLASS Company has completed a bespoke , frameless shower installation at a residential property in Diss , Norfolk , using Bilbao Premium HD shower fittings from glass consumables specialist , Bohle . The installation incorporated 8mm toughened glass , which was cut and processed in house at Stowmarket , and finished using Bohle ’ s Duplocoll adhesive tape |
to perfectly seal the gap between glass and tiles .
Offering a near invisible sealing solution , Duplocoll is a specially formulated adhesive tape that offers significant time and cost savings compared to traditional silicone ; suitable for a range of materials , including glass , ceramic and aluminium .
