More than a finishing touch

“ Integral blinds provide good profit margins for fabricators and installers and are fitted in exactly the same way as any other sealed unit . They are best known for use in bi-fold doors and sliding patio doors as they sit within the cavity of the sealed unit and don ’ t interfere with the opening and closing mechanism of the door . However , they are suitable for just about every type and style of window and door , giving the customer privacy and shade .”
Morley Glass & Glazing has recently launched two new products to its range of Uni-Blind sealed units .
Its latest innovation is the aesthetically pleasing SV + System , which is a slight rework of the best-selling SV System : a cordless Venetian integral blind with a clever magnetic slider to control the whole operation . The SV + has all the amazing features and technology of the SV System , but is entirely symmetrical , optimising the framing of the view so the blind unit is consistent to the left , right , top and bottom .
New for this year is a range of pleated blackout Venetian blinds , which delivers complete darkness on demand . They prevent light transmission through an advanced blind fabric , as well as light ‘ bleed ’ around the edges and cords . The fabric has a high thermal resistance too which means it will help to keep a room cool in the summer months .
