– if we need something , we get it . That ’ s just one of the reasons the marriage of the two companies works extremely well .
Coronavirus obviously posed a major challenge last year . Personally , I continued working throughout , and during that initial lockdown myself and a very small team continued to keep the business ticking over , doing whatever was needed – whether that was driving delivery vans or working on the line .
We also began preparing for what would happen when lockdown ended . We put down floor markings , built pods around workstations on the line , and invested in social distancing beepers that go off if you come within two metres of another person .

It ’ s now been a year since we re-opened fully – albeit with strict COVID measures in place – and I ’ m delighted to say we ’ ve had no major incidents in that time .
It ’ s been an extremely busy year - demand has soared , and as well as the pandemic , we ’ ve faced challenges around materials shortages . But the team here has taken it all in their stride and worked incredibly hard to ensure we never let a customer down .
It ’ s why I ’ m proud to work at Edgetech – my wife refers to the company as one of my babies – and I wouldn ’ t ever want to work anywhere else .
