» WE HAVE RECENTLY CARRIED OUT a research project with Ultraroof users , asking them just what it is about the system that makes them choose it time and time again over its competitors . The feedback we have received about Ultraroof has been fantastic and it has also been extremely interesting to see which of Ultraroof ’ s numerous features and benefits are regarded most highly by those who use it .
So , here are the top five reasons why Ultraroof users choose it over its competitors :
1 . Ultraroof is lightweight and easy to handle on site . 2 . Ultraroof is fast to fit . 3 . With Ultraroof I don ’ t need costly and problematic goalposts on large openings .
4 . Homeowners prefer the overall look of the Ultraroof slate tiles and aluminium top-caps .
5 . Ultraroof is so lightweight we can fit onto existing frames with confidence .
There were many other reasons why installers choose Ultraroof but the ones above are the ones that are most important – and for good reason .
1 . The number one reason why fitters prefer Ultraroof is that it is lightweight and easy to handle on site . In fact , it ’ s actually the lightest tiled roof on the market at just 38kg / m ². The lightweight Ultrapanels are cut to size before being delivered to site and so there is no heavy lifting or carrying . They also feature unique carrying bands to assist fitters with handling them on site . The lightweight nature of the roof and the way it is supplied pre-cut into panels that are easy to manoeuvre is especially important when working at height – and is obviously something that is greatly valued by Ultraroof ’ s users . Other heavier system on the market are difficult for fitters and also present more H & S risks due to their weight . There are many features that our R & D Team designed into Ultraroof to make sure it was exceptionally fast to fit
– unlike other systems , Ultraroof ’ s tiles are supplied in panels of 12 , pre-cut to size . No individual tiling and no cutting to do . The key components are all labelled in sequence for an easy fit and there are only three main structural elements : the ridge , SIPs and beam . Ultraroof ’ s integrated full height glass panels allow for fast glazing and its lightweight nature which we have already mentioned means that the ease of carrying and handling it translates into a faster easier build .
