NEW VEHICLE INVESTMENTS PAVE THE ROAD TO GROWTH
» LAST YEAR , EUROPE ’ S BIGGEST sash window manufacturers Victorian Sliders invested £ 600,000 to dramatically expand their transport fleet .
Now , just a few months later , the sash window firm has invested again – this time acquiring five new Mercedes Sprinter vans for deliveries , another two Vito vans for its travelling engineers , and eight trailers , freshly branded with new company artwork , that will transport thousands of ECOSlide windows to customers around the country .
The business has also ordered five new articulated trucks , which will be arriving in the Autumn .
“ We ’ ve been blown away by the scale of the demand we ’ ve seen over the last twelve months ,” comments Marketing Manager Geoff Bishop .
“ Sales and production records have repeatedly been broken , and that ’ s allowing us to scale up our operations across the board . This latest investment in transportation enables us to deliver to even more installers across Britain .

Ever-expanding trade counter footprint
» LEADING WINDOW , door and conservatory supplier Stevenswood is expanding its trade counter network with two new branches in south east England . The recently opened Crawley branch will soon be joined by one in Dartford , in August , with a number of other new branches planned in the coming months .
The new branches in Surrey and London will mean that Stevenswood - the dedicated uPVC and aluminium window , door , glass , conservatory supplier - will have 24 branches across the country from Inverness to Gosport .
The 3,400sqft Crawley branch is based at the Oakwood Trade Park , on Gatwick Road , and is managed by Jay Geary who was previously a branch manager for Eurocell .
Will Gold , Managing Director of Stevenswood , said : “ We are delighted to be opening these two new branches to give customers in the south east more opportunities to get the best products , show our
commitment to installers and demonstrate our confidence in the future of the industry .”
The new branches will stock UPVC profiles ( REHAU & Duraflex ), REAL Aluminium , Atlas Lantern roofs , Ultraframe and Supalite roofs and a range of roofline and ancillary products .
