A closer look at the range reveals a sash knob which comes in two decorative designs ( classic and contemporary ) and a third nondecorative variant that fits into the top sash and is hidden when the window is shut . A nonhanded side fix travel restrictor sits discretely within the sash and limits the opening on the lower sliding sash for improved security and safety without drawing the eye . A robust , PAS24 : 2016 compliant high-security sash lock and keep is secured by a combination of seven fixing points to resist most common methods of attack .
All visible hardware - including an optional sash keep cover - is available in a variety of traditional and modern finishes : white , satin black , chrome , champagne gold and silver . These finishes have been corrosion tested to BS EN1670 grade 4 ( 240hrs ) and cross hatch adhesion tested to ASTM D3359 for assured long-lasting good looks .
