» CODELOCKS RELEASES CLEAN BY Codelocks *, a photocatalytic coating that has been proven capable of eliminating the SARS- CoV-2 coronavirus ( COVID-19 ) within minutes . The clear , durable coating reduces bacterial growth on any surface it is applied to and can be applied to any lock product in the Codelocks range .
Clean by Codelocks is resistant to chemical cleaners and is designed to complement , rather than replace , existing sanitisation procedures . It works by a process called photocatalytic oxidation . The ISO certified * coating reacts with light and converts harmful bacteria and germs into a non-toxic compound , resulting in a clean and hygienic surface .
