NEW INNOVATIVE SLIDING DOOR DROP SEAL
» WITH OVER 60 PRODUCTS , P C Henderson ’ s range of sliding door hardware can cater for doors weighing up to an impressive 8000kg . Now , P C Henderson has recently partnered up with drop seal manufacturer , Planet , to introduce an acoustic drop seal for sliding doors into its range of products .
The innovative seal solution , designed specifically for sliding doors , offers a range of benefits including soundproofing ( up to 44dB ), light reduction , prevention against unpleasant smells and draught insulation .
Suitable for wooden and metal doors , the product is ideal for a wide range of applications where door sealing would be of benefit - such as offices , music rooms , bedrooms , bathrooms , nurseries and room dividers .

Unlike other sliding door seals , Planet Drop Seal is automatically deployed upon door closure and held firmly in the closed position – eliminating the need for a magnet to hold the door in place . Designed using state of the art technology , the accessory is compatible with soft close sliding door systems due to the minimal force required to activate the seal .

The accessory can be used with a number of P C Henderson ’ s sliding door systems including the company ’ s popular Soltaire and Husky Sliding systems . Silver Anniversary Celebrations Locked In
The company maybe more familiar with plated steel , but it will be silver all the way for UAP Ltd in 2021 as the hardware specialist celebrates its silver anniversary after 25 years in business .
» UAP FIRST STARTED TRADING AS Universal Imports in July 1996 with a single product – a door knocker – and a makeshift bedroom office . By 2000 , the company had moved to its HQ in North Manchester and changed its name to UAP . These days , it has grown to a £ 22 million business , selling more than 3,000 products across 25 countries with a portfolio of brands including Fullex , Locking Systems , Intelligent Hardware , TradeLocks and Firemongery .
