» THE UK ’ S LARGEST STOCK GLASS distribution centre has been opened by Glassolutions in Elland , West Yorkshire . The Glassolutions Northern Hub comprises a 30,000sq ft warehouse and 10,000sq ft office space and will employ 35 people from its former premises in Bradford and Huddersfield , including the creation of 11 new jobs .
Lisa Dunn , Distribution said : “ This is a one stop shop for all glass and glazing products including clear float , tinted float , low iron , soft and hard coat , laminated , patterned , wired , silvered , fire-glass and self-cleaning glass in stock , cut sized and processed .
“ All our customers from small traditional glaziers and joiners to large sealed unit manufacturers , window fabricators and installers , fit out companies and glass merchants will benefit from daily deliveries across the North of England , as well as online ordering and a collection service .

» GLASTON GROUP HAS CLOSED A deal for a FC Series™ tempering line with one of the largest suppliers of turn key sunrooms in North America ; to be delivered and installed during the third quarter of 2021 .
Due to extensive market demand for the company ’ s products , a push for early retirements and the influx of home improvements , the company , especially known as the supplier of high quality patios and sunrooms , is expecting to double their sales in 2021 . In addition to growing demand , a trend for sunrooms with Low E glass is also visible in the market .

Toughened glass specialists TuffX was chosen to ensure a smooth and trusted supply of quality glass for the project , cut to bespoke specifications including to accommodate where the balustrade met the angled roof , at a private residence in Cupar , Fife .
