HIGH-PERFORMANCE WALL-TO- WALL DELIVERS INFINITE VIEWS
» REYNAERS , THE LEADING SUPPLIER of aluminium glazing solutions , has launched new updates to its Hi-Finity sliding door system , further enabling architects to maximise views of outside scenery and increase natural light in the spaces they design .
Providing a seamless connection between interior and exterior environments , Hi-Finity has the ability to stretch from floor to ceiling and wall to wall , spanning the whole of a building ’ s façade . The updated system also means that glazing of up to 6m in height can be accommodated , whilst still reducing rolling
resistance to allow enhanced useability .
Despite its slender aluminium frames , which allow occupants to enjoy uninterrupted views , all-round performance is also heightened . Air , wind and water tightness guarantees comfort , while the ability to accommodate triple glazing facilitates strong thermal insulation .

BIFOLD DOORS THE HIGHLIGHT AT TWILIGHT
» RAGDALE HALL SPA IN Leicestershire has just opened its glamorous new Twilight Bar , in which installers Fearns of Carlton have used AluK ’ s BSF70 bi-folding door system to create open-out bi-folding windows for the new 1920s themed cocktail bar and lounge . These can be opened up completely on two sides to let guests at the destination spa enjoy uninterrupted views of the adjoining garden .
The slim profiles and elegant lines of the windows complement the luxurious , art-deco styled interior of the Twilight Bar , which features lots of scalloped prints and shapes , velvet seating , fringed lampshades and brass fittings . The exterior of the bar is clad in oxidised copper and the green finish of the copper has been designed to contrast with the Anthracite grey of the windows .
The installation demonstrates the versatility of the AluK BSF70 system , which can be used for either open-in our open-out windows or doors with individual panels up to 1200mm wide x 2400mm high . The innovative , flush line pop-out handle allows panels to stack flush when they are fully open , adding to the sense of openness that can be achieved .
