‘ FULL ORDER BOOKS IN Q1 ’
» FENSA APPROVED INSTALLERS ’ impressive performance since the first lockdown gives us encouragement that 2021 will start in the same vein . Since then , we have seen month on month improvements against their counterparts in 2019 . Our installers are reporting full order books in Q1 , with some already taking bookings for Q2 .
However , when vaccinations come in , this may mean a ( hopefully short-term ) blip as people shift their spend to holidays and away from home improvements . Supply shortages are anticipated to continue in 2021 which will cause frustration and may ultimately impact sales . So we ’ re predicting a strong start to the
year but it ’ s anyone ’ s guess how long that will last for and what will happen afterwards .
FENSA and Installsure had record years for application numbers which should continue into 2021 . RISA ’ s Expert Witness service , launched earlier this year , is in high demand from both solicitors and installers and set to continue . And with the government ’ s focus on energy efficiency , BFRC is well placed to gain further prominence in the industry as homeowners continue to become greener .
All that and we haven ’ t even mentioned Brexit .
