Umbrella brand for
top UK construction
names launched
» RPM INTERNATIONAL
Inc, one of the global leaders in
speciality construction products,
has unveiled a new identity for its
regional construction division in
Europe.
Launching in the UK on June
1st, and already active across the
continent, Construction Products
Group (CPG) Europe, is the
new umbrella for RPM’s leading
construction product brands,
including illbruck, Flowcrete,
Nullifire, Tremco, Vandex and
Dryvit.
CPG Europe manufactures
high-performance building
materials, covering a wide variety
of different construction needs,
ranging from sealing, bonding
and insulation to flooring, fire
protection, waterproofing and
roofing solutions.
Melissa Schoger, President
of CPG Europe, said: “We’re
excited to announce this new
family of brands which have all
been united together for the first
time. Bringing such exceptional
teams, products and services
together means that we can
harness the collective expertise,
skills and innovations to offer
the construction industry a truly
special combination of products
and services.”
With over 1,400 employees
across Europe and a long list
of high performance, marketleading
products, CPG Europe
is ideally placed to provide
chemically engineered solutions
to service the European
construction market.
John Gordon, Managing
Director of CPG UK, states:
“We have exciting development
plans for CPG UK, which is a
key market within the group. The
company has invested in a new
90,000 square foot distribution
centre in Leicester, which is
now up and running, offering
improved stock availability
and service. And even during
these challenging times, we
have been recruiting additional
technical, sales and specification
personnel to increase coverage
and penetration within our core
markets.
“Today’s architects, contractors,
developers and tradespeople
face complex challenges. CPG’s
unique mix of brands, services
and expertise means that it is
the ideal partner to work with
to develop buildings which save
energy, last longer and exceed
sustainability benchmarks.”

2.6 CHALLENGE SUPPORTS SUE
RYDER FOR 2ND YEAR RUNNING
» ALL ACROSS THE COUNTRY,
millions of NHS staff, carers, and other
frontline workers are making a heroic effort to
help get the nation through the coronavirus
pandemic.
But it’s important not to forget about
others doing amazing work in these incredibly
difficult circumstances – like the staff of Sue
Ryder hospices, who are providing vital endof-life
care to thousands of people.
Unfortunately, Sue Ryder are among
the many excellent charities struggling to
raise crucial funds during the coronavirus
lockdown.
Their shops, a hugely important source of
income, have been forced to close, and major
fundraising events like the London Marathon
have been cancelled or postponed.
Now more than ever, they need our
support if they’re going to continue providing
expert healthcare to some of the UK’s most
vulnerable people – and that’s why, at leading
independent hardware suppliers Window
Ware, they’re doing whatever they can to
help.
Given the nationwide shortage of gloves,
facemasks and other personal protective
equipment, Window Ware have already
donated theirs - with Trade Counter Assistant
Andrew taking round 80 boxes of gloves and
the company’s last box of facemasks to their
local Sue Ryder hospice in Moggerhanger.
But now the Bedfordshire firm is going
further, encouraging staff to fundraise at
home by taking part in the 2.6 Challenge,
established following the cancellation of the
London Marathon.
The Window Ware team members have
been coming up with all sorts of inventive
ways to raise money for Sue Ryder – and you
can support their efforts by visiting their Just
Giving page, or by heading to www.sueryder.
org/donate and donating directly.
“We’re extremely proud to support
the fantastic work of St John’s Hospice,”
comments Window Ware Managing Director
Sam Nuckey.
“Our staff have voted to make it our chosen
charity for two years running, and now it’s
more important than ever that the community
rallies round to help it through this extremely
challenging period.
“We want to encourage everyone who’s
able to donate to them, and the other hugely
deserving organisations all around the country
who are currently struggling for funds. If we
support them now, we can continue to benefit
from their dedication and expertise for many
years to come.”
